During her presentation, Karin will delve into the captivating domain of the innovative Somatosensory Rehabilitation method, focusing on its application in the treatment of allodynia.

Remarkably, a staggering 450 million individuals worldwide endure the burden of neuropathic pain, with many grappling with touch-induced pain or the challenging condition known as static mechanical allodynia. With the advent of the diagnostic testing inherent in the somatosensory rehabilitation method the once intangible nature of pain is rendered visible and quantifiable, enabling the implementation of targeted treatment strategies. The provision of tailored tools and exercises further empowers individuals to reclaim agency over their own healing process, thereby reinstating their self-reliance and autonomy.
